The Union Church Preservation Project

Union Church Open House & Bake Sale

On Saturday June 2, 2012, the Union Church Preservation Project held our first Open House of the Union Church Historic Site.

We wanted to thank the Falmouth community for the support of the Union Church Historic Site, as well as thank the Stafford County Board of Supervisors for the gracious donation for the roof repairs that were completed in March 2012.

We also had a bake sale thanks to the ladies at the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Overwharton Parish Chapter in south Stafford county.

We raised over $425 at the bake sale! Thank you all so very much for your support.

Important attendees from the Stafford County government included Stafford County Administrator Anthony Romanello and Stafford County Supervisors Susan Stimpson (Falmouth District) and Bob Thomas (George Washington District)
